Honoring Earth Month

At Archive, our mission is to help protect the planet by keeping products in circulation for as long as possible. It’s estimated that 8% of greenhouse gas emissions come from the fashion industry, and 80% of that impact comes from the production of new items. By giving an item a second life, its CO2e impact can be reduced by 82%—so we are here to ensure high quality products remain in use and out of landfill.

In honor of Earth Month, we're shining a spotlight on our brand partners who've rolled out resale campaigns, leveraging their resale strategy to encourage customers to choose secondhand first.

  • Christy Dawn: From April 1st-30th, Regenerates sellers will receive 120% in brand credit when their item sells.
  • Cuyana: Through May 31st, Cuyana Revive sellers will receive 110% in brand credit when their item sells.
  • Faherty: Continuing to scale Second Wave, the brand introduced a mail-in trade-in option, letting customers send in their pre-loved Faherty items in exchange for online store credit. Items are then cleaned, repaired, and relisted on Second Wave to keep the products in circulation.
  • Hobo: From April 1st-30th, Hobo Vintage sellers will receive 120% in brand credit when their item sells.
  • Never Fully Dressed: From April 1st-30th, NFD Pre-Loved sellers will receive 110% in brand credit when their item sells.
  • Sam Edelman: Through April 30th, ReLove sellers will receive 120% in brand credit when their item sells.
  • Toad&Co: From April 1st-30th, ToadAgain shoppers will receive free shipping on their orders.

In addition to these activations and promotions, New Balance, Studio Annelos, Fjallraven, Dagne Dover, Ulla Johnson, and Dr. Martens will all be using their social and email channels to educate consumers about their resale businesses and circularity initiatives.
